What is SurePay™?

SurePay™ is our proprietary payment protection service, developed with both clients and talent in mind to ensure all jobs completed on Voices provide a secure and safe experience for all.

Upon hiring, the client’s payment is held in our SurePay™ account while the talent records the final files. Once files are uploaded and the client is satisfied with the completed work, funds are released to the talent.

How does SurePay™ work?

It all starts with finding the right voice actor for your project. Request a quote from one or more voice actors, or post a job to compare qualifications, quotes, and availability of all voice actors.
Within the hour, check back to view responses by clicking on your Responses section. You can listen to MP3 samples and compare quotes for your project. Once you’ve found the best candidate, award your job by clicking ‘Award Job.’
When you award your job to the voice actor that you’d like to work with, you will be presented with a credit card page where you can make a deposit with our SurePay™ payment service. The deposit is for the full amount quoted by the talent plus a 4% processing fee.
Once your payment is made, the voice talent is notified and proceeds to record your script. When they have completed the work, the voice talent will upload the files to your account.
The voice actor has fulfilled their end of the agreement, and now you just need to download the material and accept the work as complete. You’ll receive an email inviting you to download your files. If you’re happy with the recording, click ‘I accept’ to release the funds and pay the talent in full for their work.
When you click ’Release Funds’ this action notifies Voices to release the payment for the voice talent which is sent to them by PayPal or in the mail by corporate check. Payments are sent each Friday to all voice talent who have completed work that week.
To complete this business transaction, you’ll have an opportunity to leave feedback about your experience working with the voice talent you hired at Voices. Feedback consists of a star rating and a brief review.

No, a client must approve the work submitted before payment is made.

A client can authorize the release of payments held by Voices once the work has been submitted and approved. If the client neglects to release the funds, they will still be released 14 days after the delivery date set in the agreement.
