In September of 1930 23 students reported for class in a house in Wilmington. It was the first day of Mrs Tattle School for Girls Vision of one woman. Francis DS Tattle devoted her life to Children and education. Over the next 78 years, school would become one of the region's preeminent college preparatory institutions. It would expand. It would change its name to the technical school. It would move to a larger canvas, it would admit boys, and he would grow again and again.
