Ted Strickland wants to represent us in the U. S. Senate. But back when Ted was governor, his policies lost hundreds of thousands of jobs. He overspend by billions, and he slapped us with hundreds of taxes and fees. Do we really want to go back to the policies? When Strickland ran, things turned back the clock to 2009 he wrote a budget that spent $7 billion we couldn't afford in the future. He drained a rainy day fund to just 89 cents. Newspapers and pundits said it would set Ohio up for massive cuts or tax sites in a couple of years. In the meantime, Ted found new ways to charge Ohioans for going about their business. Not not a dozen more like 140 new or higher taxes in fees. If you wanted to do it, TED, get tax it to the tune of $1.5 billion a copy of your birth certificate, registration for your car license plates and a title business inspections, trash collection, even fees on hospitals trying to give Ohioans care. How did it all pan out for Ohio? Ted still left a $6 billion deficit, and we lost over 350,000 jobs. When Ted was governor, unemployment went up 70% 70 He says it was because of global economic problems. But the truth these companies fled to nearby states were businesses could thrive.
