WHY AM I BEING CHARGED HST/HST AT CHECKOUT?

As a registered Canadian business, Voices is responsible for the collection of HST/GST from our Canadian customers. For this reason, both client and talent customers with a mailing and/or billing address in Canada will be required to pay the HST/GST prescribed by their province. These taxes are charged at the rates outlined in the Government of Canada’s sales tax schedule in accordance with the type of goods or services purchased.

To update your mailing or billing address, please navigate to the “Edit Profile” page of your account by clicking “Edit Profile” from the “Me” dropdown in the main navigation bar. Your mailing and billing address is located in the “Contact Info” tab. Client members can access this page here and talent members can access this page here.

 

WHERE CAN I FIND MY BILLING HISTORY?

Receipts for your jobs, revisions, and membership subscriptions can be found by hovering over your "Me" profile avatar, located at the top of the right hand corner of the screen in the top navigation bar, and selecting "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu. From there, click the "Billing History" tab. All of your transactions will appear here and you can select each one to view the payment details. The 'Print this Page' option allows you to print or save the page as a receipt. In the receipt, you will find Voices’s business number (i.e. CRA/VAT number) if needed for tax purposes.
