Industry Giant Voices Participating in VO Atlanta 2014
London, ON | February 28, 2014
The industry-leading online marketplace for voice over has formally announced its involvement with VO Atlanta 2014, a 4-day, major industry event for voice over artists, agents, coaches, and trainers.
Named as a Gold sponsor for the 2nd annual conference, which will be taking place from March 20th-23rd, Voices’s CMO and Co-Founder, Stephanie Ciccarelli, will be in attendance throughout.
Serving as a judge for the highly anticipated VO Atlanta Voice Over Contest, styled in the same format as the hit television talent show, The Voice, Stephanie will also be conveying her insights on the voice over marketplace from her position on the panel, “A Look at the Modern Voice Over Industry.” She will be joining the CEO of Edge Studio, David Goldberg, Jeffrey Umberger, owner of Umberger Agency, and Mary Lynn Wissner, a casting director and coach, and the owner of Voices Voicecasting, as they discuss the major players and roles in the industry, the future of voice over, and the trends of clients, a hot topic for voice actors.
Stephanie shares, “We’re grateful to have the opportunity to sponsor and participate in VO Atlanta 2014. This is an important time for the industry and we believe that this conference will have a significant impact on the business of voice over for years to come.”
VO Atlanta, the largest voice over conference on the east coast, has been developed as a forum for industry-specific discussions, resources, and insights. It is here, on location, that the well-connected industry exec will be signing copies of the book, Voice Acting for Dummies, which Voices has donated to all conference attendees. Keeping with the theme of offering support and tips for professional development, Voices has also signed on to participate in the conference showcase series to guide voice over professionals on best practices for using the site to advance their careers.
“Having the right partners in an event like VO Atlanta 2014 is important,” explains the conference producer, Gerald Griffith. “Voices is definitely one of those partners. They continue to create unique and innovative opportunities for both talent and clients while working to educate both. We’re very excited to have them and look forward to their continued involvement.”
